Purcari Wine Run 2017

Description

Sports public organization Sporter and callboard 999.md arrange a stunning Race over rough terrain on the biggest Wine-growing area in Moldova – Purcari.

Participants of Purcari Wine Run will be offered a Trail 10 km Race. Beautiful reliefs, sets of heights, unpredictable soil and lots of grapes are waiting for you. And every 2 km there will be pit stops, named after the most popular kinds of wine: Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Rose, where the sportsmen can reinforce the strength with fruits, drink some water and, of course, some wine.

Purcari Wine Run will occur on the 3rd of September, 2017. It will start on 10 am.

The number of participants in the Purcari Wine Run is limited to 300 people. 

So, do you accept the challenge?

Worth saying, that in August 2016, Sporter organized a Test Race in Purcari vineyards, thet was attended by 200 amateur athletes.

All participants of the Race will get a starter pack, which includes the participant’s number, an official T-shirt and a backpack. All finishers will receive a memorable medal.

Who will survive after the race will have the possibility to get on a tour about the Purcari complex, as well as taste not only the delicious wines of the Purcari wine company, but also taste traditional dishes (the offer is available to all participants).

September 2,  2017

• 10:00 – 18:00 – Registration and race kit pick up at Sporter office, 5 Ion Neculce str., 3rd foor

September 3,  2017

• 7:00 – Gathering of registered participants in Chisinau (Rishcani, in front of the Circus)
• 7:30 – Departure of buses to Purcari
• 10:00 – Start
• 11:30 – Finish
• 12:00 –  Degustation (for partcipants who selected degustation package)  

Race Kit

Purcari Wine Run participants will receive a starter participant’s package, which will include:

• Participation’s backpack
• T-shirt with the symbols of Purcari Wine Run 2017
• Start number
• Electronic chip
• Information brochure
• Finisher medal

Starter packages can be piked-up on September 2, in office of Sporter organization, from 10:00 till 18:00, at 5 Ion Neculce str. 3rd floor.
