Beer of Moldova

Description

Come join Madein.md and Smokehouse for a tasting presentation of the “Beer of Moldova 2016.” Building on last year’s event where 12 Moldovan breweries came to showcase their wares we will be hosting an event designed to showcase the craftsmanship and diversity of the Beer of Moldova. Join us to celebrate the Moldovan beer scene and to partake in liquid happiness

TASTING / EVENT FORMAT:

All are welcome to attend and taste the selection of beers! The Format of the event will be an open floor plan tasting. Guests will be able to move around, taste beers at stations organized by style, and talk to brewers and beer enthusiasts about our favorite topic - beer!

Tickets will be 50 lei/person and strictly limited to 100 people (reserve tickets at Smokehouse or through Madein.md). Unsold tickets will be available at the door but don’t wait! we expect to sell out!

BEERS AND BREWERIES:
All breweries will be able to submit one beer for each one of our tasting categories:

• Light Lager;
• Dark Lager;
• Pale Ale;
• Dark Ale;
• Wheat beer;
• Other;
• Homebrew.

We will be inviting breweries from all over Moldova and plan to have an awesome selection of the styles and variety available. Come taste!!

HOMEBREW
Homebrewers from all across Moldova are invited to submit beer for the homebrew category of the tasting. The requirements are as follows:

• You must submit 7 liters of beer
• Your beer must be brewed locally in Moldova
• You must have someone attend the event to represent your brew and explain your process and techniques to the attendees.

We will be crowning top homebrewers of Moldova 2016 so bring your best brews!!
