Hospice Bike Tour 2019

Join us from the 14th to the 18th of June, cycling about 700 KM in Moldova and Romania, from Chisinau to Brasov, while supporting people who suffer from incurable illnesses in the regions of the Republic of Moldova.

The route is as follows: Chisinau - Iasi - Gura Humorului - Lake Bicaz - Miercurea Ciuc - Brasov, and will allow us to try the Transrarau (3rd most beautiful mountainous route in Romania) as well as to bike along the Lake Bicaz on its Eastern shore, in all its length*

We will be very happy to accept in the team anyone who is able to face the challenge and cycle app. 700 KM in 5 days, will agree to fundraise at least 500 EUR for the Hospices of Hope Moldova cause.

#HospiceBikeTour2019 is an event organized by Hospices of Hope Moldova in order to raise funds and support the development and consolidation of the National Palliative Care Services Network in the Republic of Moldova. At the moment, five mobile multidisciplinary teams have been integrated integrated in the Network (Orhei, Soroca, Ocnita, Cahul and Taraclia). They offer palliative care services for free to those confronting an incurable illness. The tour is also meant to connect Hospices of Hope Moldova with its counterparts in Romania (Hospice Casa Sperantei). Hospices of Hope is the main provider of free palliative care services in South-Eastern Europe and has been actively working to develop palliative care services in the regions for more than 25 years.
