The International Documentary Film Festival Moldox # 4

Description

The most progressive and accessible international documentary film festival in the country returns to the big screen on September 10, 2019, in Cahul.

The theme of the 2019's edition – "METAMORPHOSES" – opens new possibilities for public debates and will be reflected by the main messages conveyed by the films. The documentaries will put into discussion the political and economical metamorphoses, the changes in the roles attributed to women and men in society, the metamorphoses of the age, of the gender notions, etc.

For six days, you have free access to 18 feature and 12 short international films, which have won numerous awards. Also, the creators of the films, talented directors from all over the world and local filmmakers will invite you to a sincere and inspirational discussion.

MOLDOX will also screen the works of MOLDOX LAB participants, the only documentary film lab in Moldova for the evolving filmmakers. The LAB will take place during the festival period and will result in the production of at least six short films.

The program will include public discussion sessions, photo exhibitions, outdoor concerts, parties, etc. The festival also invites the public to discover the most beautiful places, customs and gastronomic traditions of southern Moldova.
