"Oberliht Association and the Druzhba Collective @ tranzit. ro/ Iași" at The House of Zemstvo

We invite you to the opening of the exhibition "Oberliht Association and the Druzhba Collective @ tranzit. ro/ Iași" at The House of Zemstvo, which will be followed by the launch of the homonymous publication in the presence of Florin Bobu [RO], co-curator of the exhibition (next to Livia Pancu [RO]), which will present the idea of ​​the project and give details about the publication.

"The Oberliht Association and the Druzhba Collective @ tranzit. ro/ Iași'' involves the re-editing of the exhibition, which resulted from a collaboration with our colleagues from tranzit. ro in Iași, Romania within the Ways of Organization project. In order to make it accessible to the public in Chisinau, we agreed to display the works from this exhibition in Chisinau in the context of the Open Studios program at The House of Zemstvo.

The Ways of Organization project aims to present various ways of self-organization in the field of independent culture in the cities of Chisinau, Iași and Belgrade, contributing to a better understanding of the role of cultural civic society in order to form an alternative discourse to that promoted either by state public institutions or by the commercialized sector of culture. It also emphasizes the need to document the activity of the Oberliht Association and other art collectives and organizations in the Republic of Moldova, which cannot afford to carry out a regular editorial activity. In this regard, the publication "Ways of Organization, Oberliht Association & Druzhba Collective @ tranzit. ro/Iași", offers a less classic example of how a history of (local) art can be written in a collective, shared and assumed way.

The exhibition can be visited at Zpace / Coworking / 3rd Space studio (103 Al. Sciusev str., Chisinau), on May 23, 24, 25, 30 and 31, between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m., and on June 1, between 6 p.m. and 10 pm.
